The New Pocophone F1
Xiaomi has onset its path on the release of the new device, Pocophone. This new device is to be launched under a new sub-brand “Pocophone”. This new brand is to be launched in India and other global demands over the course of next year.
It seems to be that the Information about the device was released. The US FCC (Federal Communications Commission) website had released some info on the phone. The F1 device also received Bluetooth SIG certification. It is also rumoured to have Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 845 processor. It was put under the model number M1805E10A, and had apparently been fitted with a liquid cooling system. This might have been due to its pairing with the Snapdragon 845. The cooling system would allow the processor to reach its peak performance and have longer sustainability. The device is rumoured to have a 5.99 inch display with 2160×1080 pixel resolution and a 18:9 aspect ratio.
It is supposed that the PocoPhone F1 might come with 6 GB and 8 GB Ram nd will include 2 storage options 64 GB and 128 GB. This upcoming Xiaomi phone also delivers in the camera department. It sports a dual camera setup combining a 12MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor. The 12MP camera lens is said to have a 1.4µm pixels and dual-pixel autofocus, while the 5MP camera lens is said to function as a depth sensor. Owing to the selfie camera phone market’s demand the F1 might have 20MP sensor upfront. The front camera sensor could come with Super Pixel technology which meant for pixel binning and combine four pixels into one for enhanced ‘clarity.‘ As for the software, the phone is said to run Xiaomi’s latest custom ROM, MIUI 10 right out of the box.
Why a new Brand?
Xiaomi has been doing pretty well for itself in the Indian Market. Then why would it need to create a sub-brand. Well, it seems that Xiaomi is looking into Market trends and is doing what people call “Overcrowding”. What this means is that Xiaomi intends to fill the Market with its products so much and so often that there isn’t much else to choose from. It might also be as a response to Oppo, who launched a new sub-brand Realme recently.
Anyways, it will be thing to see if this strategy works, because giants like Samsung and Apple are not going to sit quietly through this, I’ll tell you that.
Estimated price of the Pocophone F1
If the rumours are assumed to be true, the Pocophone be priced at Rs 33,645, for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage version. It will be priced at Rs 36,849, for the higher variant carrying 8GB RAM/128GB native storage. Xiaomi has not shared any detail on the existence of this new smartphone or its launch plans. Well, not yet anyway.
