Xiaomi is ready to launch the Redmi Note 8 series in the Chinese market. According to a report by 91Mobiles, Xiaomi will introduce its Redmi 8 series on October 1 at an event which will be held in Beijing.
The Redmi Note 8 series smartphones will have a standard Redmi 8 variant and a Redmi 8 Pro variant. There will also be a Redmi 8A as well. The Redmi 8 Pro has been tipped to feature a 48-megapixel camera. The report states that the Redmi 8 Pro, Redmi 8 and the Redmi 8A could debut at the October 1 launch event.
The smartphone has been tipped to feature a 6.2-inch HD+ display and will feature a water drop notch display.
The phone will feature MIUI 9 custom skin which is based on the Android 9 and will be powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz.
The phone will reportedly be available in 2Gb, 3GB, and 4GB variants and will feature storages of 16/32/64GB options. There will also be expandable storage support of up to 512 GB.
