Police arrested three persons from old barrier in Phase 1 of Mohali for gambling. The accused have been identified as Inderjit Singh, Karamjit Singh and Happy, reported The Tribune.
Rs 5,400 were recovered from the possession of accused persons.
In another incident, Maharashtra Police arrested 10 Nepali nationals from Palghar district on charges of illegal gambling.
Police spokesperson Sachin Navadkar stated that the accused have been booked under Maharashtra Prevention of Gambling Act.
