AC Milan footballer Ibrahimovic facing 3 year ban for alleged involvement in Maltese gambling company

Sweden and AC Milan footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic is under the radar for his alleged involvement in Maltese gambling company.

The FIFA could impose a three-year ban along with millions of dollar fine on the player following the allegations of breach of FIFA rules on gambling.

The footballer’s alleged involvement gambling brand Bethard is violative of the FIFA Rules as Ibrahimovic’s Swedish company, Unknown AB, owns 10% of shares in Bethard.

It is believed Unknown AB is the fourth-largest stakeholder in the operator, and that it made a post-tax profit of £25.8m ($35.5m) in 2019.
