Carbon footprint

It was recently announced by Allwyn that it has committed itself to become first company to go for net-zero carbon by the year 2030. It has also joined UN Goals on Sustainability.

Joining the sustainability initiative is the operator Entain, which has committed to bringing down carbon to net-zero by the end of 2035.

This was announced in the 50 Global Leaders Campaign, showcased on Bloomberg’s platform where Entain intended to make progress on the responsible gaming front.

The company emphasized on responsible gaming and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and is also currently developing technology called ARC (Advanced Responsibility and Care) to enhance player protection system.

Notably, last year, a Sustainability Charter was launched by Entain with the target investment of £100m ($139.2m) over five years in the Entain Foundation to boost responsible gaming initiatives.
