The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has urged the Australian internet service providers block access to 18 illegal gambling websites in the country.

ACMA stated that it received complaints about the said illegal gambling sites which do not have the license to operate.

After investigations, it was revealed that the said unlicensed online gambling websites were found to be in breach of the 2001 Interactive Gambling Act.

As per reports by Gambling Insider, the illegal websites that the ACMA has requested to be blocked are Syndicate Casino, iLucki, King Billy Casino, Gunsbet, Spinago, Fast Pay Casino, Get Slots and King Johnnie.

The ACMA also urged the users to withdraw their money from these offending websites.

As per Gambling Insider, an ACMA statement added: “Website blocking provides a valuable opportunity to alert the public to illegal gambling services through the messaging that appears when there is an attempt to access the site.”
