World Lottery Association (WLA) awarded British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) Level 4 certification for the fourth time for responsible gambling standards.

Level 4 certification is the highest level of certification that is granted by the WLA’s Independent Assessment Panel (IAP) under the Responsible Gambling Framework.

Notably, BCLC received it for the fourth time in a row.

IAP in its report noted that BCLC meets the highest standards of gambling and takes into account ‘global health approach’.

According to report by Gambling Insider, BCLC Chief Social Purpose Officer and Vice-President, Player Experience, Peter ter Weeme said: “BCLC is committed to continuously assessing and improving our player-health programs. Obtaining Level 4 certification is an important endorsement of our strategy, as we work towards our goal that no one should be harmed by gambling offered by BCLC.”
