Bet365 CEO Denise Coates and her family have become the highest tax payers in Britain. They have done so for the second year in a row.
As per reports by Gambling Insider, the total tax liability for the year 2020 that was paid by Coates and her family stood at £573m ($787.6m).
Betfred owners Fred and Peter Done stood third in the taxpayer’s list with £191.3m as tax payments.
While Done brothers’ wealth is estimated to be around £1.2bn, Bet365 owners’ wealth, meanwhile, was documented as being worth £7.17bn.
Undoubtedly, the COVID-19 pandemic had affected overall tax revenue in Britain, nevertheless, Bet365’s tax numbers have gone up for gambling.
