The Casinos in Goa have been given the permission to re-open from November 1, 2020.

The State has 6 on-shore casinos and 16 casinos operated by licensed five star hotels.

The casinos in Goa had been in lockdown since March, however, the government led by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated that, “Casinos will start from November 1. We have given them permission”.

As a measure of relaxation the government has allowed the operators to pay license fee monthly instead of lump-sum annual payment.
