Mathan Kumar, a resident of Radhakrishnan Street close to Seraikenpalam in Coimbatore, aged 28 years was found dead at his house.
His parents have raised suspicions of gambling and alcohol addiction as the primary reasons of his demise.
They stated that the deceased, a worker of a non-public financial institution, had borrowed money from friends and relatives to fuel his gambling addiction.
Police stated that this may be a case of unnatural death as the victim had failed to settle the money owed by him to others on account of online gambling.
