Rival gangs in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh district got into a dispute for allegedly IPL 2020 betting transactions.
The disputes lead to a 24 year youth getting shot dead by one of the gang members.
The locals however, also relate it to a caste-issue.
Names of the two suspects appeared in connection with the alleged murder, where one of the accused persons was arrested on the spot and search is on for another person.
Shakit (24), a Valmiki youth, was shot dead allegedly by two youths belonging to the Kori caste on Tuesday night, reported Rebublic World.
Shakit was rushed to the Malkhan Singh district hospital however, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted.
