It was reported by the Indian Wire, few weeks ago that Caesars Entertainment has acquired William Hill and it is planning to sell Hill’s non-US assets.

In the light of the above news, it has been learnt that Entain is considering to bid for William Hill’s non-US assets.

Entain, which is the owner of UK based Ladbrokes and Coral plans to expand its share in the UK markets by emerging as a potential bidder.

Notably, Entain has been expanding rapidly as it recently took over Swedish betting company, Enlabs AB and the further acquisition of William Hill could generate regulatory issues for the company.

According to Gambling Insider report, Apollo Global Management is also interested in William Hill’s assets, and could be the leading candidate according to those close to the deal.

Gambling Insider also reported that “It seems the William Hill assets could launch a new bidding war between these two companies and even more, as it is rumoured operator Betfred is also interested.”
