US based sports broadcast giant ESPN has decided to launch a sports betting dedicated channel on Youtube.

The sports broadcast organization has taken this step in a bid to expand its digital betting- related content portfolio. The betting and gambling is legal is some states of USA and this prompted the company to launch a specific channel dedicated to sports wagering.

The channel will contain clips from the ESPN’s betting show – Daily Wager and other content such as sports news etc. that is broadcast from ESPN’s Sport-Center. Last month, the Indian Wire had reported that ESPN has opened one of its studios in a Las Vegas’ Casino, from where it will broadcast its wagering show Daily Wager.

ESPN is expanding its sports betting content legacy with Monday’s debut of Bet, a new half-hour program that will stream three nights per week on digital platforms, reported InsideSport. This show will originate from the newly opened studio at LINQ Hotel, as reported above.

This show will also be available on ESPN App and other social media feeds of the channel.

Mike Foss, Senior Director, Digital & Social Video, Social Content, ESPN, said, “Bet will allow us to connect with fans and drive the conversation in a way that leverages what we do best on social and digital platforms. We have seen tremendous success and growth in our slate of digital shows in 2020. Bet will showcase an amazing new studio in The LINQ and we are tremendously excited about delivering a new live and interactive show core to our audience expansion priority”, reported InsideSport.
