The investigation that was launched a year ago against New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has revealed that he sexually harassed 11 people.
Following the findings by the investigative authorities, Gov. Cuomo was forced to resign.
However, reports state that Cuomo’s resignation is less likely to have any impact on the process of regulation of gaming and gambling in the state of New York.
As per Gambling Insider, New York State Senator Joseph Addabbo said: “Now for the sake of the 19 million people of this state, we must come together as New Yorkers and continue to move forward in improving the lives of our residents and maintain government services. There is still work to be done and we will rise to this occasion as we always do in the face of challenging times.”
After the decision by the New York State Gaming Commission, it is expected that the bids will start by the groups by 2022, which is also the anticipated launching date for mobile operators.
