The casino Grand Korea Leisure Ltd (GKL) which is the operator of foreigner-only casinos in South Korea, will keep its properties closed.
The shutdown is temporary due to COVID-19 and will extend till January 4, 2021. Earlier, it was supposed to open up after December 29, 2020, however, it has been extended to curd corona virus cases.
The venues that will remain closed are- Gangnam COEX and Gangbuk Hilton in Seoul, and Busan Lotte in Busan.
The properties were shut from December 1, 2020. They have been shut to prepare better for COVID safety measures.
As per Gambling Insider, Paradise Casino Walkerhill too extended the closure till January 15, 2021.
