Three shots were fired at Manish Kumar of Chhawni Mohalla, who filed complaint with the police of Ludhiana about the alleged incident.

On the basis of complaint by Kumar, the Division Number 4 police have booked four persons, indentified as Rohit, alias Kalu, Ricky, Sicky and Shiv for the said incident, reported Hindustan Times.

According to the accounts given by Kumar, all persons were indulged in gambling session at victim’s house where they had a heated exchange over monetary issue.

Later, one of the accused persons took out his pistol and fired three shots at Kumar. Luckily, all shots missed the target and Kumar had a narrow escape.

While the victim called the police immediately, all the accused fled from the spot.

Inspector Satwant Singh, Station House Officer (SHO) at Division Number 4 police station said that after preliminary investigation, a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act has been registered on the basis of complaint by the victim, reported Hindustan Times.
