In accordance with the guidelines released by the Macau’s Novel Coronavirus Response and Coordination Center, the negative COVID-19 tests are no longer required for gaining entry into Macau’s casinos.

The Center stated that the visitors to the region will no longer be required to show a negative Covid test when entering casinos effective from March 3, 2021.

The guidelines for showing the reports of COVID-19 negative were put by the Macau’s Gaming and Inspection Coordination Bureau (DICJ) in accordance with the hlth codes.

This scenario, however, has now been reversed.

Notably, the visitors from mainland China are still required to submit a negative test result before entering Macau.

Additionally, the usual precautionary measures such as mandatory face masks, the green health code system, barriers between players on the gaming floor, as well as social distancing will remain intact and operational in all the casinos.
