Rajkot: 7 arrested for gambling, items worth Rs. 1.7 Lakh seized

7 people were arrested from bank of Bhadar River in Supedi village of Rajkot district of Gujarat. It was reported that the accused were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in gambling.

The accused were identified as Jitendra Ujiya (34), Hemraj Amrutiya (70), Natwarlal Gowani (63), Kantilal Govani (68), Gordhan Dadhania (70), Bharatsinh Jadeja (38) and Kishorsinh Jadeja (40) as reported by Times of India.

A R Gohil, inspector with Rajkot rural LCB stated that,  “We recovered Rs 43,510 cash, five cellphones worth Rs 11,500 and five motorcycles worth Rs 1.15 lakh, all worth Rs 1.70 Lakh, from the possession of the accused”, reported Times of India.
