Smart Operations’ B2C gaming license has been cancelled by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA). This was done when the authorities found the breach of gaming regulations on the part of the operator.

As the license stands cancelled, the operator can no longer carry out any gaming operations, register new players or accept new customer deposits as it previously could.

According to authority, the operator failed to fulfill the financial commitments and meet regulatory standards.

The date from which the cancellation takes effect has been set at April 30. The regulations 9 and 10 of the Gaming Regulations allow the authority to take such kind of steps.

It was also pointed out that the operator failed to deposit the amount due in timely manner.
