Sportradar is all set to be the official worldwide data and associated media rights partner of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

The announcement was made by AFC and the agreement will stand until 2028.

Sportradar, which is the sports integrity and sports betting data supplier, will be the official partner of the AFC and would distribute official video and data for major AFC national and club competitions.

AFC, which is the governing body of football in Asia, will offer such opportunity to Sportradar  for the cycles between 2021-2024 and 2025-2028.

The competitions that would be covered by the Sportradar for AFC are- the AFC Asian Cup to be held in China in 2023, and AFC Champions League, inter alia.

As per Gambling Insider, Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl said: “We are proud to partner with the AFC in this watershed moment for Asian football.

“With the importance of Asia, we believe that this agreement is a strategic opportunity that will provide Sportradar further leverage in the region with a sport that is growing exponentially in terms of participation and viewership.”
