Sportradar, the sports integrity services is set to monitor betting in sports in Netherlands.

To this end, the agency has signed the agreement with various Dutch authorities such as the Netherlands Olympic Committee (NOC), Dutch Sports Federation (NSF) etc. to provide bet monitoring for competitions in the Netherlands.

The deal will be active for numerous sporting events throughout 2021 which could total to over 1,500 matches.

As per Gambling Insider, Gerard Dielessen, CEO at the NOC and NSF, said: “In order to work in line with the Macolin Convention, this pilot agreement with Sportradar Integrity Services is an essential project in understanding the betting exposure that is afforded to Dutch sport.”

Sportradar Integrity Services managing director, Andreas Krannich, added: “By signing this agreement, the NOC and NSF have shown their crucial proactivity in protecting sports competitions in the Netherlands from integrity risks such as match manipulation.”
