XC Gaming Sweden Ltd, a gambling form in Sweden has been given a warning and penalty fee by the regulator, Spelinspektionen, reported InterGame.
The Swedish gambling law allows offering of bonus only at first gaming opportunity. However, XC Gaming violated the law by offering bonuses at multiple stages.
The gaming regulator, Spelinspektionen, imposed a penalty fee of SEK5m (€489,000) on XC Gaming for offering unauthorized bonuses.
The regulator also found the firm to be in violation of its duty of care by handing out gifts to a player who Spelinspektionen thinks to be vulnerable.
