The Gambling Commission has launched a three year plan in order to fight problem gambling.

The Commission intends to create a well-regulated to protect the players through research, insight and coursework.

Out of the five objectives of the plan, identified by the Commission, the first one is focused on protection of Children and vulnerable section of the population.

Apart from improving the standards of the licence holders and improve policy. It also wants to remove crime from gambling to maintain consumer trust.

The Commission believes that the gambling harm prevention plan would help in tackling illegal providers, prevent money laundering and manage risks to betting integrity and event manipulation.
