The betting shops and the casinos have been given an opening date in the United Kingdom.

The Prime Minister of UK, Boris Johnson laid out the detailed plan for the comeback post lockdown.

The betting shops and other non-essential retail outlets resume service on 12 April, while Casinos are set to get re-opened on 17 May.

The PM explained that plan has four stages and efforts should be made to capitalize on the re-openings.

At the same time, the British Horseracing Authority is in talks with operators to delay the Grand National, which is horseracing’s biggest and most wagered-on event.

As per Gambling Insider, Simon Clare, PR director for Ladbrokes Coral said: “If there was a way the Grand National could be put back a few days, it would deliver a massive boost for the sport.”
