The Betting and Gaming Council of UK is rejoiced after it declared that safer gambling messages have increased making the Council’s 10 pledge-plans a success.

The BGC announced that the operators have doubled the safer gambling messages on their websites and are ensuring the safety of the players.

The BGC also stated that the safer gambling messages that are to be directly sent to customers’ phones have increased by 150%.

BGC Chief Executive Michael Dugher said: “The Betting and Gaming Council was set up last year as a standards body committed to driving big changes across much of the regulated industry. These latest findings show that the BGC has led the way and is achieving real results on safer gambling”, reported Gambling Insider.

He added, “The introduction of the ten-pledge plan at the start of lockdown was further evidence of success – and our members re-affirmed their support for the pledges when the second lockdown began”, reported Gambling Insider.
