The National Lottery, UK which conducts lottery competition EuroMillions is desperately searching for the winner of £1.8 million prize money.

The mysterious winner hasn’t yet appeared to collect his or her cash.

The draw was conducted on December 11, following which the winner was declared. However, no one turned up to claim the prize money.

Now the operators are urging the players to cross-check their numbers as they ticket was brought from the West Lothian area.

According to Evening Standard, Camelot’s Andy Carter, a senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket holder and unite them with their winnings; this amazing prize could really make a massive difference to somebody’s life, and what a way to start the new year it would be. We’re urging everyone who bought a ticket in this area to check their old EuroMillions tickets again or look anywhere a missing ticket could be hiding.”
