Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, making its third attempt at going public, has finally announced the date for its launching.
The Hotel and Casino would be opened for the off-strip property on March 25, 2021, if everything goes as planned.
The former Hard Rock Hotel and Casino were set to launch on January 15, 2021, but its launch was delayed due to pandemic. Before January 15, the date for its launch was set at November, which could not be materialized.
The renovation which cost around $200 million will be three hotel towers with 1,504 rooms with 323 refurbished executive suites.
The property will also have theater and a showroom, and a casino which would be operated by Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment.
As per casino.org, Richard Bosworth, president and CEO of JC Hospitality said: “It has been a journey, but to finally reach this milestone and confidently announce our opening date would not be possible without our incredible partners and construction team.”
Bosworth added: “We are not only celebrating the fact that we finally get to welcome back guests to the most exciting resort to open in Las Vegas in years, but we also get to bring our team members back to work.”
