Virginia approved sports betting in the state last April, after which few big brands entered the Virginian Online Sports betting market.
The prominent ones that are already operating in Virginia are FanDuel, DraftKings, BetMGM, BetRivers and William Hill.
Amongst these sportsbooks, FanDuel was the first to launch on Jan. 21 and William Hill was the most recent on Feb. 3. It went live just before Super Bowl LV.
Recently, WynnBET has also received approval for operating in Virginia.
Virginia Lottery officials stated that they anticipated more sports betting operator permits would be awarded in the coming days.
As per Gambling.com, WynnBET will be the official online sportsbook of two iconic racing venues in the state — Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway.
