Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is all set to launch on October 25th. With COD: Modern Warfare just a few days away from its official launch, Nvidia is in no mood of wasting any opportunities as the company has released its ‘Game Ready’ driver for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare PC. The new Nvidia GeForce version 440.97 is now available for download. Moreover, the driver is even optimized for the upcoming ‘The Outer Worlds’.

Nvidia further says, “If you want to run the game at 4K/60 with ray tracing, you’ll need at least an RTX 2080 SUPER. If you’re a competitive gamer wanting to hit 1080/144Hz, the GTX 1080 or RTX 2070 SUPER will serve the purpose well. As for “Recommended” with ray tracing at 1080p, that will require at least an RTX 2060 – so all in all, not too bad of requirements.”

Other improvements that Nvidia has made includes bug fixes and added/updated SLI profiles, with multi-GPU gamers getting support in the Darwin Project, and The Outer Worlds (for Turing-based GPUs only). Furthermore, support for G-SYNC for OpenGL and Vulkan-based applications have also been added, when running in a window
