The very artistic mobile games Alto’s Adventure and Alto’s Odyssey loved by many for its beautiful gameplay are coming to PS4, Xbox one and the Nintendo Switch, it is also coming to the Epic Games Store as The Alto Collection on 13th August. However, no release date has been announced for the Switch version other than simply being said “coming soon”.
The game was originally released for IOS in 2015 and for Android in 2016, a game where alto’s character goes on an endless journey of runner snowboarding. You play as Alto or his friend snowboarding through the landscape while being chased by village elders. The character is controlled by tapping on the screen to make a jump over obstacles or big gaps between mountains. A well designed, well animated game which received positive reviews from both critics and fans.
Again in 2018, the sequel to the original title was released as Alto’s Odyssey for both Android and IOS. The gameplay was same as its original title, the only difference being that now Alto is sandboarding. The sequel was well received too for its enhanced experience with new features such as the wall run and balloon bouncing with the visuals being more vibrant and colorful.
The Alto’s Collection will be priced at $9.99 on all platforms
The Alto’s Collection will be free on The Epic Games Store from August 13th to August 20th, thereafter it’ll cost $9.99 on each platform. However, the game is still free-to-play on Android devices but includes ads and in-app purchases which increase the number of coins you receive.
