AMD-3rd-gen-7nm-processor

AMD is all set to battle it out against the arch-rivals Intel as the company is geared up to bring its highly anticipated AMD Ryzen 5 3500X Third-Gen Threadripper processor in November. The new processor will compete against Intel Core i5-9400F.

AMD’s 16-core gaming processor was due to arrive this month but the company tweeted that due to production issues the chip has been delayed and will now be arriving in November.

The productivity issues further suggest that it could be linked to TSMC which seems to be struggling to keep up with the demand for 7nm chips.

AMD took the veils off of its Ryzen processor during the E3 2019 and is supposedly the first 16-core gaming processor. The new processor is expected to be priced at €999 (roughly £920).
