Respawn’s Battle Royale game, Apex Legends, has been a great gaming experience until Season 2 from the very first day of its arrival and has been praised by streamers and pro players all around the world. And as we look forward to Season 3 after Apex Legends Preseason concluded with TSM winning the championship, Respawn Entertainment teased a trailer of highly anticipated hacked Crypto a few days ago and now it’s officially confirmed that the hacker is coming to Apex Legends on October 1.

Last month, the company hinted at the arrival of Crypto to Apex Legends when Tina Sanchez’s, a producer at Respawn Entertainment tweeted a behind-the-scenes teaser which further suggested that the new character was under development. Then as the Iron Crown Event that introduced the Solo Mode for the first time, ended, Respawn confirmed Crypto at the Gamestop Conference to be the next character that would be featured as the next Legend. And now, finally the long-awaited wait is finally coming to an end as Season 3 of Apex Legends has been announced, and after months of speculation and rumours, it’s finally confirmed that Crypto is all set to take on other legends of the title. Additionally, there’s also a new battle pass arriving with over 100 exclusive items, a new weapon, and a new Ranked series, all coming to Apex Legends October 1.

“Cool, calm, collected Crypto deploys specialized surveillance drones to stay in the fight and out of the spotlight,” reads Respawn‘s official description.

However, Crypto isn’t the only reason to wait for the new Season 3, we have Ranked Series 2 introducing some improvements to the scoring and matchmaking systems. Moreover, Respawn has also warned players for a soft reset in your rankings.
