Since the launch of Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment has made so many changes in the game that includes total map change in season 3, replacing Kings Canyon with World’s Edge. But it seems neither the company or the gamers are getting enough of this. There is a news that Respawn Entertainment is testing another SMG for Apex Legends.
The latest leak comes from ‘That1MiningGuy’, a leaker known for his datamined finds for Apex Legends. He posted on Twitter that the company is testing a new SMG for the game on November 14.
“Not sure if this is for the CAR or the Volt (hoping Volt personally, but know some of you love the CAR), but it does look like some kick patterns for a new SMG are being tested,” he tweeted, alongside screenshots of the files.

Currently, the battle royale has three SMGs available: R-99, Alternator, and Prowler, but the data mine suggests the team at Respawn is currently testing kick patterns for a new SMG. The CAR and the VOLT weapons are the part of the Tintfall universe, that too belongs to Respawn Entertainment.
However, with no confirmation from Respawn or announcements for fresh guns to be introduced, it’s likely that gamers have to wait until at least Season 4’s launch to see more content of this kind added to the free-to-play game.
