Marvel Avengers Damage Control VR experience

Marvel, the company behind the fascinating and one of the highest-grossing movie series ever, Avengers has been working on consolidating its roots in the gaming industry. Marvel’s Avengers Game has been in the news for quite some time now. And now, Marvel has taken another giant leap as the company released the Marvel Avengers: Damage Control, a location-based VR experience. The latest virtual reality marvel from Marvel Studios and ILMxLAB is set to launch on October 18.

The trailer shows a new prototype suit that has been developed Shuri using Wakanda’s tech and also uses tech from Stark industry. The VR experience will allow players to put on the suit and fight alongside their favorite Marvel superhero including Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, and others. From the looks of it, the VR experience will allow players to “shoot repulsor blasts with your own two hands” and “go beyond the screen, and become a character in the story itself.” It is set to launch in October at select VOID VR locations.

The Void’s site has listed the available locations and article quotes:

“Shuri has recruited your team to test a powerful new prototype design combining Wakandan and Stark technologies,” a plot description said. “When an enemy from the past seeks to steal the technology, you’ll fight alongside some of your favorite Avengers like Doctor Strange, Wasp, Ant-Man and more to stop the attack before they unleash an oppressive new age upon the world.”
