Bethesda’s DeathLoop’s launch has been postponed to Q2 2021. COVID-19 the reason behind it.

DeathLoop is an FPS game that involves two characters named Colt and Julianna. They both are assassins who are chasing each other. The theme isn’t that basic. It is revolved around time. The main character must do certain tasks in order to break the loop and escape. He faces challenges in that path and the other assassin is one of them.

Colt and Julianna will have a collection of weapons and skills at their fingertips that can be modified to match your play style. While both would have access to the same key resources, their skill is what sets them apart. Colt can use hacking tools, while Julianna can mask herself and take on the persona of any NPC.

Well along with E3 2019, the company also revealed a PS5 launch for this game in June 2020. If you choose the main character all you have to do is break the loop and escape. But if you choose the other one, that is Juliana, you have to stop Colt from breaking the loop.

Since Juliana can stop Colt at any time, if you play with Juliana you would be dropped in-game at random times or chapters.

This may seem a bit confusing but the Arkane team has tried their best so that the players won’t feel constrained by the time loop themselves.

Let’s see whether the game will finally be available in Q2 2021 or we get another delay.
