Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is confirmed for a mobile release later. Naturally, it’s coming to IOS and Android. ArtPlay developed the game and it was published by 505 Games. Originally, the game was released on PC, Xbox One and PS4 back in 2019. It was the product of a $5.5 million Kickstarter success and was bound to be a hit.

NetEase Games, the publisher of Bloodstained, announced the news of it coming on mobile. Moreover, the game was translated by Gematsu. As the one on Steam was paid, it’s going to be premium on mobile as well. It’s not a free-to-play game but it sure is worth shelling out a few bucks for. Region-specific release details are yet cloudy. But the game is getting an English release.

Big changes include the on-screen buttons designed as mobile UI for the game. Most people don’t own a controller for mobile games. So it makes sense for a new UI.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will also have a new achievement system. The game is set to get all the content that was in the original release. There should be purportedly be shortcuts instead of the console window, which is going to be more feasible for a mobile version.

The game’s development was spearheaded by former Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi. Hence it is considered a spiritual successor to the series. The game is the second in the Bloodstained series. It isn’t exactly a modernization of the series. Also, it manages to feel like a descendant. It does so beautifully without any modern construct. It is a classic with only a handful of newer systems. Now, it’s time to wait for the Bloodstained release on Android and IOS.
