Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was a huge hit back in 2007 when it intrigued the gaming community with fascinating story and gameplay. And now, Modern Warfare which is a re-imagined version of 2007 classic has officially rolled out its beta. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was initially released for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360. However, the beta is currently available only on PS4.

The beta brings in a multiplayer mode, which comes with several new modes, including a 2v2 in little maps and another one that gives in excess of 100 players a chance to share in a hard and fast war.

The first multiplayer beta test has already begun starting from 12th September for players who have preordered the game. For those who didn’t preorder the game can play in the open beta from Sept. 14-16. Moreover, early access to the cross-platform beta starts Sept. 19 for anyone who preordered on PS4, PC or Xbox One with the open beta starting on Sept. 21-23.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta Details

PS4 Exclusive Beta Dates:

  • September 12-13 (Early Access, PS4)
  • September 14-16 (Open beta, PS4)

Cross-Play Beta Dates:

  • September 19-20 (Early access, PC and Xbox One; open beta, PS4)
  • September 21-23 (Open beta, PS4, Xbox One, and PC)

Modern Warfare launches on October 25 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
