call of duty modern warfare season 1

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was a huge hit back in 2007 when it intrigued the gaming community with a fascinating storyline and gameplay. Recently, Modern Warfare which is a re-imagined version of 2007 classic even officially rolled out a beta earlier this month with the title is all set to arrive on October 25th. But before its launch, Activision is busy sharing new trailers and details as the company recently shared a new Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare launch gameplay trailer alongside a new Special Ops Mode trailer. Moreover, we also know that you don’t need to free up 175GB on your gaming PC to play  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare at launch. And now, it is confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have a battle pass instead of loot boxes.

Just a few days back, Infinity Ward announced that Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare will not have loot boxes at launch. Following the announcement, Activision has unveiled its post-launch content plans for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Similar to battle royale games like Fortnite and PUBG, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will also feature the Battle Pass system. The Battle Pass will offer both paid and free content, however, the Battle Pass would also “allow players to see the content that they are earning or buying,” says Activision.

Activision also promises in its post that “all functional content that has an impact on game balance, such as base weapons and attachments, can be unlocked simply by playing the game.”

Activision has also said that the battle pass system will not be implemented during the initial launch next week, but will roll out with post-launch live seasons, each with its own themed content.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare launches on October 25.
