call of duty controller support

Call of Duty: Mobile has taken the mobile gaming world by storm ever since it launched on October 1. It took the title just 3 days to hit 20 million downloads. Just hours before its launch, it was confirmed that Call of Duty Mobile will support controller for iOS and Android. However, just after the launch, publisher Activision and developer Tencent Games removed support for controllers, thereby causing outrage among gamers. But now, Activision has released an official statement stating that controller support is under testing and will be added back soon.

Activision addressed the players’ requests via a recent post on Reddit by saying, “We hear you loud and clear that you want to know about controller support.”

Call of Duty Mobile is the first free-to-play experience of the franchise which has been in beta testing for quite some time and finally arrives tomorrow. But what’s even interesting is that the title will support controller for both iOS and Android. Obviously, playing using a controller will make it much easier to play with custom configurations around than the on-screen controls. However, no further details have been released as of now but this feature is surely one to wait for.

It would be really interesting to see what the new feature offers as the recent iOS 13 update introduced support which allows both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One standard controllers on iPhone and iPad, thereby offering iOS users an opportunity to play Call of Duty: Mobile using a controller.
