CapCom takes down ‘Ducktales Remastered’ from Digital Stores

Our very dear Ducktales, a very popular NES platformer that originally debuted back in 1989 has an upgraded version dubbed as Ducktales Remastered which was launched for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U back in 2013 is now being delisted from all digital stores. Ducktales was Capcom’s biggest selling game at the time and has since been a very popular name amongst youngsters not only for its authentic visuals and non-linear gameplay but also for its fascinating soundtrack.

As reports come in, a Capcom employee stated on his blog post, “You’ll have until August 8 at 5 p.m. Pacific to grab the game on Xbox 360 and Xbox One and until August 9 to pick it up on PlayStation 3 and Wii U.”

Following which, Capcom has reportedly issued a warning to all potential owners of DuckTales: Remastered; the game is being delisted on digital storefronts, starting tomorrow, 8th August.

Capcom further notifies those who own DuckTales Remastered digitally can redownload it even after it has been taken down. For those owning a physical copy, can install and play as normal.

DuckTales Remastered can be purchased physically for $10 USD (on the Wii U) or $15 USD (on the other platforms) at GameStop.
