Plants vs Zombies: Battle of Neighbourville is now live on Xbox One

EA(Electronics Art), one of the largest game developer and publisher in the world, had great success with Plants vs. Zombies which was developed by PopCap. And now, EA has started closed testing of the of Plants vs Zombies: Battle of Neighbourville. Originally it was ‘codenamed picnic’ and according to rumours it was to be Garden Warfare 3 but Electronic Arts has filed a new trademark for the term “Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville”.  The patent was filed on August 9th following which a confirmation trademark has been registered against the NICE classifications 9 and 41.

Plants vs Zombies: Battle of Neighbourville is a sequel to the very famous Plants vs Zombie game. If we are to trust the leaks, the game won’t be story-focused. The game will feature 20 character classes, a social region and three free-roam regions, and nine PvP modes including a 4v4 battle arena.

However, as we all know, a trademark isn’t the only way to get you a name and it doesn’t even promise you one. Moreover, it is quite fascinating that the trademark was filed just a few weeks after EA sent out alpha playtest invites for a new Plants vs. Zombies shooter codenamed “Picnic” at the end of last month.
