Cloud gaming is going to be the new trend pretty soon and will take on the gaming industry with a storm. This year has been full of announcements from major players of the gaming industry which are Sony, Microsoft, Google about their next-gen consoles. And the coming year i.e., 2020 is going to be all about cloud gaming with Xbox Scarlett, PlayStation 5 launching next year after Google Stadia launches in November this year. And now we have another exciting news from the cloud gaming world as EA is all set to test its ‘Project Atlas‘ in closed beta today at 10 PM PT /1 AM ET.

Electronic Arts announced Project Atlas last year as “a vision for a cloud-native gaming future.” And now, starting from today, EA is putting its much-awaited cloud gaming service, ‘Project Atlas’ on closed beta. The beta will run for two weeks wherein, anyone with an EA Origin account can sign up and gain access to a test of EA’s cloud gaming service. Players who sign-up for the test will be offered a chance to play four EA games, via the cloud: FIFA 19Need for Speed RivalsTitanfall 2 and Unravel.

Chief technology officer Ken Moss said in a new post on Medium that EA is gearing up for an “external trial for our players to experience games streamed through EA’s cloud technology.”

This is a very good opportunity for fans to witness how well EA’s service performs and also a chance to play 4 really exciting titles and that too via the cloud.
