Epic Games is giving a break to all the action in Fortnite. While players in Fortnite play to kill each other, this week they will cath fishes in the game. Epic Game has started a new tournament “ Triggerfish Presents: Fortnite Fishing Frenzy!“
The Fortnite Fishing Frenzy has started this weekend, it is giving everybody a chance to win a real-life prize. Players have to catch fishes in the tournament. There will be various categories to participate in. The winners of each category will get specially engraved llama trophies to commemorate their top-flight fishing talents. Any player that catches a Mythic Goldfish during Fishing Frenzy will receive the Bottom Dweller Pickaxe.
The tournament will end on 24th November. Harpoon Guns are not allowed in the game. Here are all the categories and the tasks according to Epic Games:
Top Angler
- Catch the most fish in a single match during the competition
- One champion per regional server
- Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy
Small Fry Champion
- Catch the most Small Fry during the competition
- One champion per regional server
- Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy
Flopper Champion
- Catch the most Floppers during the competition
- One champion per regional server
- Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy
Slurpfish Champion
- Catch the most Slurpfish during the competition
- One champion per regional server
- Awarded an engraved Llama Trophy
Mythic Goldfish = Instant Prize
- Anyone that catches the Mythic Goldfish will receive a Bottom Dweller Pickaxe!
Getting Hooked on Fishing
- Anyone that participates during the competition window will get the Play to Win spray
- Use a Fishing Rod during the contest times
