Just a few days ago we discussed how the introduction of B.R.U.T.E mech during the recent update in Fortnite is killing the game. Players found the B.R.U.T.E mech to be very annoying and further complained about the mech as requiring no skill at all and just an easy way to get kills and victory royales. And now after receiving negative feedback from users, Epic Games seems to be taking it seriously and to introducing some changes in the B.R.U.T.E mech.
Epic Games after much reconsideration, in the recent Fortnite 10.10 update has made some important changes to the B.R.U.T.E mech. From now on, players will be equipped with a targeting laser hooked with directional audio, which will instruct the players as to where the B.R.U.T.E mech is aiming and firing its missile.
Even the Fortnite developer team considers the mech rollout a mistake without proper counter weapons and they tweeted replying the feedback received stating that they are reviewing the mech.
Heya folks,
We messed up and rolled out the Infinity Blade overpowered / without good counters, especially in the end game.
The Infinity Blade has been Vaulted and we are re-evaluating our approach to Mythic items.
Thanks for calling us out on this!

However, this change isn’t a significant one as many major issues still remain to be looked at like the absence of powerful weapons to counter the overpowered B.R.U.T.E but it is still a start and in the near future we can expect a few other changes to counter the mech and give the game same old stability.
