Fortnite BRUTE mech

Finally, after much reconsideration, Epic Games in the recent Fortnite 10.10 update made some important changes to the B.R.U.T.E mech after getting negative feedback. The B.R.U.T.E mech officially rolled out on August 1 and after players complaining about the mech making the game easier, changes were made. In this update, players are now equipped with a targeting laser hooked with directional audio, which instructs the players as to where the B.R.U.T.E mech is aiming and firing its missile. But now the company is claiming that the real reason behind the introduction of B.R.U.T.E mech was it offered more players a chance at a victory royale. Thus, the mech is here to stay as it seems the mechs are actually performing their intended jobs pretty well.

B.R.U.T.E mech is an armed robot, operated by two players. One player manages the movement and the other person operates weapons. It spawns randomly across the map and whoever gets his0her hands-on it is at a greater advantage than other players as it comes fitted with a shotgun and a missile launcher. Moreover, it deals enough damage when it stomps on any player which is pretty easy.

Even though Epic Games says, the mech is here to stay, players haven’t been in support of the mech since Day 1 of its introduction. And it will be interesting to see how Epic Games deals with this dilemma as many players are happy with the mech too.
