IGN reports that since Epic Games Store’s launch in 2018, users have been asking for achievements on Epic Games Store. Epic Games has announced that some games will now start showing achievements. Epic has shared that it is an early version of the feature and hasn’t revealed exactly which games will display achievements.
It was also announced that Epic Games Stores will be supporting mods. MechWarrior 5 will be the first game on the platform to support mods. Developer Piranha Games said, “We are extremely excited to announce that MechWarrior 5 is the first game to par take in the beta launch of Epic Games Stores Mods! with this release, discovering and installing MW5 mods made by the amazing modding community will be easier than ever, integrated directly into the existing Epic Games Launcher.”
The mods feature of Epic Games Store is currently in beta and it’s currently unknown when it will be released.
