ESPN, ABC have reportedly postponed Apex Legends tournament in the wake of recent mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio. Apex Legends Tournament was to be held at the X Games event this week. The tournament has now been rescheduled to be held in October. Rod Breslau was the first to report the news on Twitter.
ESPN EXP Invitational for the game “Apex Legends” was held on August 2-3 at X Games Minneapolis where it was scheduled to be broadcasted on ESPN2 Saturday at 10 p.m. ET.

New reports coming in circling the tournament suggest coverage of the tournament will now be airing on Sunday, October 6 at 5 p.m. ET on ESPN2, Tuesday, October 15 at 11 p.m. ET on ESPN2, and Sunday, October 27 at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
