Tencent will no more handle the operations of PUBG Mobile in India as PUBG corporation aims to bring back the game in India.

It has been 4 days since the ban of PUBG. We have seen memes, news, criticism, etc on this decision. We all knew PUBG would be back one day. The parent company of the game won’t let the game die so easily in India. So in order to revive the game PUBG corporation has taken this huge step.

PUBG Corporation has decided to no longer authorize the PUBG Mobile franchise to Shenzhen-based Tencent Games in India and take over all its publishing responsibilities within the country,

They also added, “As the company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localized and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.”

If you don’t know, PUBG is originally a game of South Korean studio named Krafton Game Union. The PUBG version of PC and console is already under the control of PUBG corporation. Only the mobile version was managed by Chinese giants Tencent. Hence there is a ban on only the mobile versions and not the PC and console versions.

PUBG Corporation not only aims to bring the game back in India but also plans to organize more regional events across the nation.

With this step, now none of the PUBG versions has any relation with any company from China. So this must be enough to lift the ban maybe. The government is yet to provide clarity on whether the latest move by the company would bring any relief to the existing gamers, and gaming organizations relying on PUBG Mobile in the country.

As millions of PUBG lovers are happy after this news, Akshay Kumar recently announced FAU-G. Will the launch of FAU-G affect the government’s decision in bringing back PUBG?. We don’t know. But soon we all will.
