FIFA-20-title-update-7

FIFA 20’ is already facing tough competition from ‘eFootball PES 2020‘ this year. Konami launched its football title eFootball PES 2020 on September 10th. As for FIFA 20, the title is near its launch on September 27th. However, FIFA 20 has arrived on EA Access for early access and along with it, EA also launched the FIFA 20 Web App which is live now. As the FIFA 20 EA Access is live now, we are here with FIFA 20 reviews and there is one mode that simply stands-out, Volta Mode.

The way Konami has been going forward with ‘PES 2020’ this year, it seems like the company is all set to take out FIFA once and for all. First the change in nomenclature from ‘PES 2020’ to ‘eFootball PES 2020’, then the acquisition of exclusive licenses to teams like Manchester UnitedJuventus.   Konami even snatched EURO 2020 rights from EA after seizing Serie A rights. Konami is all set to crush FIFA’s legacy but ever since FIFA 20 arrived yesterday on EA Access it seems like Volta Mode has saved the day for FIFA.

Volta Mode features three main sub-modes:

  • Volta Story,
  • Volta World and
  • Volta Tour

Like any other mode, the first thing required to play the mode is to make your own avatar, male or female and further customize each and every physical attribute ranging from eye color to hairstyle to even choosing to wear shorts or joggers.

Volta Mode allows you to play free-flowing football with options to go three-on-three, four-on-four or five-on-five matches in smaller environments. Interestingly, four-on-four or five-on-five matches can be played without the goalkeeper. Tricks and flair passes are the eye-catching features of this mode and easy to perform, which makes it a perfect pick for new players.

All in all, Volta Mode could easily stand as its own spectacular football game. However, for now, you need FIFA 20 to play the mode.
