Square Enix seems to be quite busy these days. Recently, the company teased about a new villain that will feature in its famous title Marvel Avengers, then the company showed us glimpses of Hulk’s Thunderclap. The company was again in the news yesterday when it tweeted Iron Man’s heroics. But interestingly, Square Enix isn’t busy only because of Marvel Avengers Game, its Final Fantasy 7 is also serving the company pretty well at this time. Developers of the game who have been saying that there will not be a new character have now teased that the game will have some new Bosses.

“With regard to new characters, of whom I said during past interviews that there would be “none” – though they aren’t main characters, their numbers ended up growing considerably in the process of creating a rich depiction of Midgar” said TETSUYA NOMURA, DIRECTOR of the game in a blog post. “When you think of Midgar’s final boss, you probably think of the M.O.T.O.R., but in this game, new bosses will appear and add to the excitement of the story even more.”

According to KAZUSHIGE NOJIMA, story and scenario head, creating an all-new Final Fantasy 7 was an exciting task, yet it had some fear as well. The original game used cartoon-like, stylized art, and the story was completed by players using their imagination to supplement portions that couldn’t be depicted as a result, but in the new game, there is less room for a player to use his imagination. According to him, People who know the original game might not know how to take it.

Square Enix says that the game will be “New but familiar” for those who have played the original game and for new gamers, it is a chance to experience the charm of FINAL FANTASY 7. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is scheduled to launch on March 3, 2020, for PlayStation 4.
