According to KAZUSHIGE NOJIMA, story and scenario head, creating an all-new Final Fantasy 7 was an exciting task, yet it had some fear as well. The original game used cartoon-like, stylized art, and the story was completed by players using their imagination to supplement portions that couldn’t be depicted as a result, but in the new game, there is less room for a player to use his imagination. Square Enix says that the game will be “New but familiar” for those who have played the original game and for new gamers, it is a chance to experience the charm of FINAL FANTASY 7. Final Fantasy 7 Remake is scheduled to launch on March 3, 2020, for PlayStation 4.
